Snr. Apostle (Prof.) Moses Oluwole

MPMI Founder/General Overseer/Spiritual Head

Apostle Moses Oluwole, Ph.D. Industrial Chemistry, is the Visioner,  Founder and General Overseer of Model Prayer Ministries International (MPMI),  a ministry dedicated to reaching the lost and discipling them for God’s Kingdom since 2000. He was Professor and Chair of Chemistry, University of Ilorin, from 1983-1989.

Even though raised in the Anglican Church, he had no personal knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, but in his heart, Apostle loved Church and singing Christian hymns. In 1956, whilst at Government College, Ibadan, Nigeria, he received a divine visitation and gave his life to Jesus Christ. Since being born again, he has been committed to the service of the Lord, spreading the Gospel to fellow students on campus and evangelizing house to house during his vacation. He established a Christian Fellowship on campus which was well attended by both junior and senior students; and also served as the president of the Baptist Students Union. He was invited often to conduct revivals in various Pentecostal assemblies in Ibadan. He loved and still loves to pray fervently, and the Lord worked miracles through him. He loves young people who are passionate about God’s work, giving them the necessary support and encouragement regardless of their nationality, social status or educational background. He is a well-sought out mentor to many pastors, several of whom have established some of the biggest well-known megachurches in Nigeria.

While in Nigeria, he spent most of his weekends on various prayer mountains, sometimes together with his family. To the glory of God, in 1989, Apostle Oluwole was led to resign as a University Chair and Professor of Chemistry, to go into the Ministry of Helps, giving financial support to Christian ministries. In 1990, he served as an Assistant Pastor at Logos Aflame Church, Victoria Island, Lagos. He graduated from Dispensational Gospel Mission Bible College, Lagos in 1997. He and his wife were ordained as Pastors in December 1998 under Calvary Gospel Church, Ikota, Lagos. From 1999 to 2000, he was an Assistant Pastor at the Christ’s Love Ministry, Windhoek, Namibia.

In 2000, the Lord recruited him into Church planting. In Ministry, Apostle Oluwole is supported by his loving and devoted wife, Reverend (Prof.) Doyin Oluwole, who is Apostle’s best friend, confidant, prayer partner and advisor. When his wife was assigned to Namibia as the World Health Organization Country Representative, he and his wife established Model Prayer Ministries International in 2000. Later that year, they met Bishop (Dr,) Henry Ndozi-Okia and his wonderful wife, Pastor Maria Ndozi-Okia. Under God’s divine direction, they developed an intimate relationship and joined forces to grow MPMI in Africa and beyond. The Oluwoles have continued to mentor and serve as spiritual parents to the Ndozi-Okias to this day.

Prof. Oluwole, an international researcher, lecturer and products developer is author of 11 research patents, and over 40 scholarly publications in Industrial Chemistry, during his professional career in Germany, Switzerland, Britain, Nigeria, and the United States where he worked as a Fulbright Hays Scholar at Penn State University. He is the author of several Christian literature books aimed at discipling people for the Kingdom of God.

Apostle Oluwole is a member of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos, Nigeria. He obtained Masters Degrees in Chemistry at University of Leeds, U.K.; and PhD in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Stuttgart, Germany. The Oluwoles are blessed with children and grandchildren.

Warning to others:
Brethren, I regret having disobeyed the call of God. Whenever He calls you, please obey instantly. He may either not call you again or you may lose part of the grace He wanted to bestow on you. With God, delayed obedience amounts to disobedience.

My Marital Life:

PASTOR OLADOYIN OLUWOLE:
I met my wife Dr. Oladoyin Oluwole, in April 1976 shortly after completing her medical studies. Before we met, the Lord had given me the signs I would watch for. He said rather than me witnessing to her, she would start sharing the Gospel with me. That was exactly what happened on that glorious Sunday afternoon of April 4, 1976 in Lagos, Nigeria. On my way home from that meeting, the Lord spoke to me audibly three times to go back to her. I did, and we became friends. During that time the Lord gave us clear words from Scripture to assure us that He was behind it all. For instance at one time He gave us the words of Isaiah 30:21 “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.”Doyin, as she is fondly known, is truly a gift from God. She is attractive, highly intelligent, and deeply committed to the Lord. She is a help meet for me as God Almighty planned it to be.On our first meeting as we shared things of the Lord with each other, we discovered that both of us had a similar call of God on our lives. On the human level, she is my best friend, confidant, ministry partner, prayer partner and counselor.
